Illustrated Weight Lifting Exercises Database

When you sign up for a gym membership, they typically don't provide you with a guide for weight lifting exercises. Walking into a gym can often be a bit intimidating and overwhelming; especially if you're new to weight training. There are rows and rows of exercise machines and free weights and a lot of extremely fit men and women working out. If you're like most, you wouldn't feel comfortable walking up to a stranger and asking them for advice or help on where to begin. So there you are with no instructions or guidelines to help you achieve your fitness goals. As an alternative to hiring a personal trainer (or a resource for experienced strength trainers), feel free to use our library of weight training exercises that is designed to help you understand what various exercises do and how to perform them to maximize results.

The Gameday Weight Lifting Exercises Database is here to take the guesswork out of what to do at the gym. Our aim is to provide an extensive collection of individual exercises for those of us that are interested in details and instruction on the different types of exercises often used in strength training. This is also an excellent resource if you are looking to create your own workout routines and don't know where to start. If you are interested in seeing our goal specific workout routines, click here.

Our Database is conveniently separated into the following muscle groups in order for you to quickly locate a variety of exercises needed to target specific muscles. Feel free to click on one of the categories below to see the exercises for that muscle group.
